Sure you can do this, but on other hand you need to think about messages and emails you are sending to your friends. Some of them can be really annoyed. So what I'm saying is - it is better to think about these things yourself if you want to build your social profile.

Completely agree (assuming you're using Facebook partially for professional purposes).

Though I do think one line Facebook updates can offer value. Obviously not things like, "Goodnight everyone!" but rather "is having a blast at SXSW!"

The more content you can get into less space the better.

I am confuse with your suggestion. I am not able to understand your tips. I am not saying your saying fake. Actually i didn't get your properly. May you specify why should we avoid this stuff on facebook profile.
