So what ever happened to Disney Mobile? A few years ago, when they decided to launch an MVNO, it seem to burst into flames due to a miscalculation in how much it would really cost to launch such a large endeavor. But like many well-known disney acting auditions brands they cannot afford to ignore or abandon mobile — it’s too important to both near-term and long-term revenue as well as a powerful distribution mechanism. Disney still has a mobile group, but probably much smaller than before.
