It's good news.. I'm a PayPal user too and just heard of that stuff.
I've found similar offers at Facebook's ReferQuest.

I don't think this is really going to go anywhere. It's just a goofy little feature for people to use on their friends, and if the Internet's shown anything it's that people only want to play with your gadget when it's free.

Not necessarily, SmugMug offers essentially the same service as Flickr and although more people use Flickr SmugMug makes bank. I tend to think that while this may not "go anywhere" it will help to make PayPal more mainstream

Not surprised that Paypal is trying to push off their services some more. It's not about enabling people. It's about reaching in people's pockets to make more money. People lose their Paypal account everyday over frivolous reasons. Better off using RME [short for Revolution Money Exchange]. No fees with RME and they do have a debit card. They the closest to being similar to "Preypal" without the hassles.

Yeah, this is interesting. Kind of revolutionary in my opinion.
