RotorBlog.com: Flickr copies YouTube, launches Video for Flicker features

This article is an absolute load of rubbish and fails to understand the concept beyond video on Flickr entirely. Even the slightest investigation into the matter would tell you that it's entire purpose is not to become a YouTube clone, thus a 90 second limit on all clips and a request that videos not be edited was made.

I think that the message being relayed by the first commentor was that unless you offer compentative features like those currently available in Youtube, you are waisting your time and the new functionality will not be used. I think people have become accustomed to the functions freely available in youtube websites and will expect that as a minimum. I also think that a 90 second video upload is not a selling feature that will make users want to start paying fo the new flicker service.
