It will happen regardless who you follow. i think social networking sites are great for - as the name suggests - social and personal networks. Can't imagine my boss making an announcement about company restructuring over FB. It's so nice not to have to weed through the junk mail!  I actually access Twitter and Facebook on my webtop whenever I log on - it's my preferred medium for easy interaction with colleagues, clients, and friends.
