when you're "customizing" your 2.0 profile click on the icon that says "Back". It'll give you an option to go back to 1.0 =]

if you want to change it....click "customize" then click "go back" it'll give you the option of changing back to 1.0=]

kay so you've updated to 2.0. it's a waste of time. click edit profile, and then look in the upper right corner it will say customize, click it. now on top where it says Exit, Save and exit, there should be something that says "Go Back" with an arrow next to it. click it, and click the button that changes it back to 1.0. there you go!

i hated it, its so ugly, but its easy to get rid of if you read more of these comments & if you're to lazy to scroll down, then when you’re “customizing” your 2.0 profile click on the icon that says “Back”. It’ll give you an option to go back to 1.0

I had 2.0 for like 3 days and couldnt figure out how to change it back i finnally did...

go to the lil profile menu dropp down toward the top of your page... press customize profile and then press back and the press the second option..

MYSPACE 2.0 sucks ASS....

You all have to be patience, 2.0 is so much better, once you learn all the tricks, you will love it! no going back to the old my space, I can do so much with 2.0 and is all on one click, I dont have to go searching for how to's... it took me a bit to figure it out, I was frustrated like all you sound to be, but I had patience and was willing to give it a try, just like anything in life, don't give up so quick! 2.0 ROCKS! before you know it, the old myspace will go away...

Go to view profile and at the end of your friend ID type &pe=1. It will send you straight back to profile 1.0.

I hate it. Its looks Extremly messy/ugly. Go to "edit profile". On the right corner of the page it will have "customize profile editer". After that click on on "Exit". It should say something in really small font saying "go back to 1.0" .. Hopefully that help.. It took me awhile to figure it out.

I never got an option to choose from 1.0 or 2.0 it just gave me 2.0
which i terribly hate >.<" and i want 1.0

But when i click 'exit' there is nothing in small writing saying go back to 1.0
&& When i click 'go back' nothing happens it just resets my 2.0 to be the default of 2.0

i even tried copying and pasting '&pe=1' to the end of my link at the top but it still doesnt work...

so i just got a new myspace account
and it's 2.0 automatically on it
and when i hit the "go back" button like everyone says it just gives me the option of starting from scratch on the 2.0 profile..
is there another way of changing this at all?

if u signed up after april 2nd u cant change it i wish i cuold =(. but if u signed up before tht go to the scroll down bar on profile, then click customize profile. then on the top right of the page it says go back, that it says start from scratch or go back to 1.0 then yeahh. hope the helpsss. :)

Myspace 2.0 has some huge privacy issues.. No longer can you make your informaton available to you and your friends ..its open to the world unless you wish to take it off completely , even from your friends You got an old myspace previous to the change over date...hold onto it

2.0 SUCKS BEYOND BELIEF. I've emailed MySpace "Help" twice now. I won't hold my breath waiting for a reply. The sad thing is, I've been using MySpace for 5+ years and always edited in 1.0. Now we don't even have the option to switch back with new pages! UGH!

At first I hated 2.0, but I guess I've become accustomed to it and taken a liking to it, especially now that I've learned most of the codes to play around with it and make it nice :)

to change your profile back to 1.0 you go to 'customize profile' then click 'exit' then it should say discard or save? at the bottom it says 'go back to profile 1.0' click on it.

yuos can go back in to custimize profile and it will say some where switch back to 1.0.
i thought that 2.0 sucked and then i went back to 1.0 but i fiddle around and its accaly pretty good, part for i need to change the colour and size of my writting and i dont no how!!

2.0 SUCKS!!! It doesn't ALLOW you to be private. When you upgrade from 1.0 to 2.0 all the sudden all your personal information and friends are all PUBLIC!! So you have to scramble to find a way to protect yourself and get private ASAP. That's the first stupid thing about this upgrade. The instructions tell you to click on the pencil icon to set your privacy for each module. Well DUH the pencil icon is for CUSTOMIZING/EDITING, not for setting privacy, it's the LOCK icon. AND... when you click the lock icon and you choose "Only Friends" and “apply to all modules” then sign out, view your profile, it's still open to the public!! How SUCKY and STUPID is that?!?! LUCKILY and I do mean LUCKILY I was able to quickly go back to 1.0, otherwise I would have deleted my account immediately and said F.U. to MySpace. They need to hire a completely new development team, talk about sucking ASS.
