They say they want to support human rights and children's rights but then want to have links to and seem to advocate for groups like NARAL that want to senselessly slaughter children. Shame on you for not caring enough about unborn children to include them in your crusade. The unborn are human too and you should be fighting to protect them just like any other human beings! Stop turning a blind eye to the slaughter and stop supporting heartless baby killers!!!

EQUAL RIGHTS FOR PREBORN PEOPLE!

I am quite curious if there are any of these type of networks out there with a more conservative lean, that take intersest in animal and global welfare issues but while still taking a pro-life, pro-family, Godly stance on issues. I know there is http://www.grassroots.org and a couple of conservative political sites like the GOP social network and onemillionconservatives.org but that's all I've found so far.

Re: Six Earth-Friendly Social Networking/Media Sites

Change.org nice Social Networking website!
But i'm Using http://Uoha.Com Business Social Networking site2 get conected with my friends!

Re: Six Earth-Friendly Social Networking/Media Sites

Fabulous list. This is a good group of Earth Friendly blogs. I would also include http://www.parkhowell.com It is a green marketing blog but the author has a great passion for the environment and wrote a great post that he published today, "It's Almost Earth Day and Your Mother Could Care Less." It's worth a read.

Re: Six Earth-Friendly Social Networking/Media Sites

Great sites! We focus on helping conscious consumers take actions every day to make a difference.

Protecting the Environment -- and related causes such as conserving wildlife and reducing global warming -- is incredibly important to Care2's 10 million members, so Earth Day is a big deal for all of us. But I want your readers to know that Care2 is also a great community for people who are passionate about other, non-Environmental causes, too. These include peace, human rights, children's rights, women's rights, education, health, fair trade (and other social justice, anti-poverty issues), animal welfare, GLBT, civil liberties, renewable energy, sustainable farming and progressive politics.

Thanks again for your helpful post.
